The Novel
Prologue
The year is 2029, the humans are at war with a new enemy. The Machines humanity calls them. Headed by massive chrome skeletons, stalking across the arid wasteland. Red glowing eyes searching the tattered horizon for somethings to kill. Terminators they are called. Their only reason for being to eliminate the last of the pitiful human race.
Only one problem stands in their way, the resistance leader John Connor. This significant person is guiding the Resistance fighters toward the massive Terminator fortress. Inside which is housed the heart of future technology Skynet.
Skynet controls all of the lethal machines, they are moved at its whim. Yet Skynet knows of the problem of John Connor, the big problem. Skynet has twice tried to eliminate John Connor.
First he sent a T-800 Model 101 back to the year 1984. Its mission to kill Sarah Connor before the birth of her son John Connor, it failed. Then Skynet sent back an advanced prototype T-1000 back to the year 1995 to eliminate young John Connor when he was just ten. The trip was on the verge of success when the T-1000 was destroyed by a rogue Model 101 Unit.
Skynet knows that time is running out, it will not last much longer. It knows that the future is never set in stone, it can always be changed. This is the beginning of its struggle to reamin online in the future. There is no fate but what we make.
